Comments assigned to wrong posts
-
I recently changed my blog to the new template “Tarski” and straight after that, comments started being assigned to the wrong posts. Readers left comments on three different posts and they all ended up being attached to the same (wrong) post. I changed templates back to one of the older ones and the problem hasn’t recurred. I quite like the look of Tarski and would like to go back to using it but not if this problem is going to recur. Has this happened to anyone else? Is the problem with Tarski or was this a one-off WordPress glitch? And has it been fixed? (I did submit this to support but haven’t heard anything back)

Staff are aware and are working towards correcting this http://wordpress.com/forums/search.php?q=Tarski+comments

I’m having the same problem! I just switched to Tarski and the comments are out of whack.

I have the same problem too. It occured after some time. First comments in Tarski theme worked ok. Hope it will be solved soon.

*sigh* I’m so glad I take the time to post here with answers. :(
See my post and send in a feedback with specifics. There appears to be an issue with the theme that you are using.

When is the problem with Tarski going to be fixed?
Whenever people post on any of my posts, the comment re-appears on all my posts and pages.
Also, it says that they commented on my very first post even though they comment on the newest. -
Seriously, at this point I’d be switching to a different template, at least for now. The functionality of the blog has to take preceedence over the look, for the sake of the users. If it’s still happening, I’d switch to something temporarily, and ask to be notified when the bug is fixed.
