Comments blend into the background picture, how can I reformat them?

Comments on my blog appear in black font (the same as the posts), and blend into the background. How can I change the font color for the comments, or get the comments to appear in a colored box like the posts do?

If you purchase the Custom Design upgrade, you can change the colors for many elements of your site using our Customizer tool. If that’s not sufficient (and for what you’re talking about, you may need further control), with the same upgrade you can modify your CSS.
