Comments Blocked

  I searched the web and forums, but couldn’t find anything so I am placing it here. Today, I started getting an error message when anyone tries to comment on my site. They enter their comment, email, name then hit submit. The next thing it says is, ‘Blocked as suspected bot.’
  It lets me comment from my site (I’m already signed in), but has blocked everyone else. I even tried using a different email of mine and got the error.

  Has anyone else experienced this problem or know how to fix it? Thanks.

  I also tried commenting, and got the same message. However, please note that this is a WordPress.com forum, where all things regarding WordPress.com sites are discussed. Since you have a self hosted WordPress.org site, please ask this in the WordPress.org forum found here. You’ll get better support for your problem there ;)

  I have tried over and over to sign in on wordpress.org and it says my username is not found. I then thought I had my password wrong, but I tried putting my email in and it says no user found. There is no email to send a request to fix this and I can’t post in the wordpress.org forums without signing in. Do you know how I can solve this problem? I can’t reset my password because it says my email is not found. This doesn’t make sense. Do I have to create a username and password to get on the wordpress.org forums?

  Sorry, I fixed it and was able to make an account on wordpress.org. Thanks for your help!

  Sorry for the late reply. I’m glad to hear you fixed it =)

  Notice that your WordPress.com username and your WordPress.org username will never be the same. That’s probably why you were having problems logging in (if you tried logging in with your WordPress.com log in info).
