Comments box
-
Hi, if I use the CSS customization, will I be able to remove the email and website field from the comments box?
Also, will I be able to make the other links on my page visually there but disconnect the links. For example the “home” button is there but when click, it does not direct you to that page? I would like a prototype blog page for an experiment and I do not wish that my participants accidentally click to somewhere else. Will I be able to do that? -
Hi ruiwenkoh,
You can hide those fields using the Custom CSS feature.
You would have to change your discussion settings first though to allow anonymous comments. You can see this link for these settings.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/I believe after you’ve made those changes this code should hide those fields for you.
.comment-form-email, .comment-form-url { display: none; }You can make all kinds of modifications to the main navigation by setting up a custom menu.
To do this go to your Dashboard then Appearance then Menus.
You will need to create a menu and assign it to the theme location but after that you can control which links show up in it and where they go.
