Comments box is not showing up on my new theme. Please advise.

  I’ve gone through the tutorials. I’ve checked all the correct boxes but for some reason comments are disabled on my new posts. When I prevued the post before publishing they were there.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  I have read through your various posts (on your blog and other forums) and to my knowledge as long as you are using the template that is provided within the theme, you have to work within the limitations of that template. I am glad to note however that you have already directly asked the theme author the same question, which is precisely what I would recommend in this situation.

  I’m sorry that I cannot be of more help in this case, but you’re in excellent hands!

  Hi,

  Thank you for the response.

  Just to be clear, from what you know I can not use CSS to change the template, right?

  I think what I’m going to do is put my archived posts in those templates, unless I can figure out a different way.

  That is correct. It would involve creating comment boxes where there currently aren’t any. It may be that the theme author has a way around it in mind but I’m not aware of any. Sorry!
