Comments box missing after plug in installed, then deleted

  I had everything working fine…then added the plugin wp-myphpadmin…all the comment boxes were gone on the site but the comments could only be seen in the control panel….so I deactivated AND removed the plugin from the site but it still was not allowing any comments to show up….any idea what could have happened and how to get my comments box back for every post?
