Comments box not appearing
-
Dear all. This is a dumb question from a newbie. I am not getting a comments box appearing at the end of my posts. I get one for the pages in the top menu bar, but not in new (or old) posts. The settings seem right. The comments form is supposed to appear by default. Any ideas?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You’re telling me you cannot see the comment box or the actual comment on this post? http://findhornblog.wordpress.com/2014/08/06/welcome/
The comments box does not display on the main blog posts page. It only displays on each individual post’s page.

Thanks. I see that now. Pity though that I can't get the box to appear after each post on the main page. So there is no way to do that? As it is, readers can leave a comment if the know to go to the counter next to the title of the page. But this is obscure.

No there is no way to do that. How comments are displayed re: collapsed comments on the front page is built into the core of WordPress. Your blog is new and has few comments. Imagine how long your front page would be and how long it would take to load if you displayed full posts on the front page and if the comments were not collapsed on the front page? On some posts I get over 50 and sometimes over 100 comments. Bloggers would click out rather than waiting for the blog to load.
