Comments box not appearing on post

  Hi,
  I am completely new to blogging so maybe I am missing something but I don’t get a comments box underneath my post. I only have a replies link under the title of the post and its only when you click on that that the comments box appears below the post. The comments that appear though are underneath a link to another post and not the actua post so isn’t very clear!. I’ve activated discussion and everything I think I should under the discussion tab. I have the theme Twenty Twelve – could that be the problem?

  That is working normally. You won’t see the actual box for comments on the main blog page; only on that particular post’s individual page.

  I don’t get what you mean – that post is on the home page and nowhere else? Should I be putting it somewhere else?

  Ok I think I know what you mean – if I click on the post title it makes them appear!
