Comments by certain IDs are not appearing

  Hi folks,

  We’re facing a problem with comments. Comments by certain IDs either never show up or refuse to get posted.

  Can someone please help? Much appreciated.

  Try looking in the spam folder, something comments go in there by mistake.

  Thanks, AbsurdOldBird, will check the next time. It didn’t land up there the last few times, though. Is it because of repeated tries to post one comment?

  It shouldn’t be. Usually Akismet catches something because of a dodgy-looking username or URL or even the email address looks odd.

  However, another thing that springs to mind is, if your site has more than one administrator maybe someone else has blacklisted some people? Have a look on this page for some clues:
