Comments Disappear

  After I leave a comment to a post, I can see it when I’m logged it, but when I log out it disappears. And when if I log back in it’s there again. And the number of comments a post has doesn’t change after I comment, and my comments don’t show up in the “my comments” thing in my account. Btw I just joined wordpress today, if that matters at all.

  You’re probably commenting on a blog that’s set to comment moderation, and your comment won’t show up until the owner reads and approves it. If you can, give us a direct link to a post where you’ve commented so we can see if WE can see your comment.

  No, it’ doesn’t necessarily say if the comments are set to moderation or not.

  And as I remember, after you make a comment it depends on the theme as to whether you will get a notice saying your comment is awaiting moderation.
