Comments disappeared

  HI! It seems all of the comments that readers have posted on my blog have disappeared. Anyone else have this problem?

  Hi there. Your comments are still there, but the font color is exactly the same as the background color. View a post and try highlighting a comment to see what I mean.

  Have you perhaps made any changes to your theme’s CSS or color scheme recently?

  Oh wow. Thank you. no I haven’t made changes… Not even sure I would know how! Ok, I will see what I can do. Thank you!

  If you didn’t make any change that could cause this I doubt there’s anything you could do to fix it. I’ll tag this for staff to follow up for you.

  Hey Jennifer!

  After playing around with the settings a bit, I noticed that it’s your theme’s color palette you chose that is preventing you from seeing the comment text. The one you currently have incidentally made the comment box the exact same color as the comment text.

  If you go to Appearance > Customize from your dashboard and click the default button next to background, you’ll be able to see your comment text. You can choose a different color palette, but just make sure that you choose a palette where the comment background doesn’t match the text font color, and you’ll be good to go. =)
