Comments disappearing

Since the beginning of Aug I can’t post any comments on WP. I’ve tried to post on many blogs, both those I frequent and those I’ve never been to before, so I know I’ve not been blocked from them. The comment vanishes and I sometimes get a red bar that says “could not add reply to this post.” I’ve already been in contact with the Akismet people and they assure me I’m NOT flagged as spam.
I’ve disabled my plugins and cleared the cache on my chromebook. Any idea what’s going on?

There are two different types of WordPress. Your wordpress.COM username login will only apply to comments made on sites hosted by wordpress.COM.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Are you receiving an error message? If so what is that message and do you have a screenshot of it? If not then please keep in mind, as @timethief has already responded, that blog and site owners are not compelled to approve every single comment that is submitted on their blog or site.
Would you be kind enough in providing actual URLs to blogs and/or sites where you have left comments and they have disappeared? I’d be happy to look into this for you a little more once you can provide the requested information.

The same thing is happening to me. About a week ago I was able to comment perfectly fine, but now when I comment the phrase “your comment is awaiting moderation” does not even appear. The page just refreshes and my comment disappears. It is not the site because other people can comment on it just fine, and I have tried on many different computers, so it must be my account. I was assured the akismet that my posts were not spam. These comments are for a school assignment so I have talked to the people who’s blogs they were and they said they received no notification of me ever commenting. I am very confused why this is happening. Let me know what you think. I can provide links if needed, but it happens on all site and I think it’s related to my account and not the site.

My comments are also disappearing as soon as I post them. I regularly comment on these blogs and have never experienced this problem.
Examples (two of the blogs on which I commented today with no results): https://toortsie.com/2017/10/02/die-kalf-is-in-die-put/ and also this one https://mywegkruipplek.wordpress.com/2017/10/02/bang/ on which I commented during the past two hours.

I just commented on this blog a minute ago https://elanseblok.wordpress.com/2017/09/29/le-jou-eier-wat-maak-my-bang/ and the comment is not reflected anywhere. It is also not in the other blogger’s spambox. We comment on each other’s posts regularly. Just to test, I tried to repeat the comment (the exact wording) and got a pop-up message that I was trying to duplicate the message. This is now happening with every single blogpost that I comment on. Please advise.

This has been happening to me too. I used to be able to comment just fine but for the past few months, I haven’t been able to leave a comment on anyone’s blog post, irrelevant of who it is and which device I’m on.

My problem has been solved by doing the following: Open this link in your browser https://akismet.com/contact/, then scroll down to the heading “Please tell us more” and select the bullet point “I think Akismet is catching my comments by mistake.” Complete and submit the form at the bottom of the page. They complied with my request within 24 hours.
