Comments disappearing.

  Third time lucky I hope. I did at first tried posting in the forums but my comment twice disappeared. Indeed, since yesterday commenting on posts of bloggers I follow have been disappearing. I take part in a group called Dverse Poets and commenting on others’ work is important …not that it isn’t always important for individual posts. Please see what can be done? My site is pviljoen.wordpress.com

  Hi there, I’ve just fished your threads out of the forum spam filter, so there is a good chance that your comments are going to spam on the site you mentioned. Do you have another way to contact the site owner to ask them to check and if necessary unspam your comments there?

  You can also do the following:
  1. Go to the Akismet spam filter contact form at https://akismet.com/contact/
  2. Under “Please tell us more” tick the radio button under “I think Akismet is catching my comments by mistake” and fill out the form using the same email address associated with this WPcom username account.
  3. Be patient.
