Comments – Discussion Module

    When posting through the dashboard there is typically the discussion module where I can select to allow comments. The module is gone and in turn it is not allowing comments on the post. How can I fix this issue?

    Hello there,
    If you are referring to the wordpress.com blog linked to your username then that’s extremely odd. The Discussion module is appearing on my blogs. Have you checked your Discussion page itself?it sounds like you automaticcaly closed them.

    Settings > Discussion

    Enable & Disable Comments- Automatically Close Comments
    It is also possible to turn comments off automatically after a certain number of days. To do that, go to the Settings > Discussion page and look for Other comment settings on the left. Check the box next to the following option, fill in the number of days, and save.
    * Automatically close comments on articles older than __ days.
