Comments do not post
-
Why is it some comments do not post to WP blogs, but instead are routed to the blog user’s junk/spam file? This is a problem people have been experiencing going back to June or July. I have been commenting on friends’ WP blogs for years with no problems, now suddenly half of my comments go to junk instead of posting. And, for some inane reason, not all bloggers have an alternate way to contact them and let them know your comments are not posting.
After discussing this issue with friends, I know I am NOT alone in dealing with this frustrating issue. It seems like WP is blocking non-WP users from commenting — labeling them as spam — even when they have followed someone’s blog for years.
Equally annoying is the fact that only “premium” users can complain or report issues to WP directly, which says a lot about their customer service (or lack thereof). How do you get WP to FIX their issues and STOP labeling you as spam? I already got a WP ID, which has not resolved the issue as it only seems to recognize you about half the time you use it. Today, for instance, it allowed a couple of my comments to post, labeled a couple others as spam, and would not accept my ID on one blog at all. This is ridiculous and just one of many reasons why I chose to use a competitor to host my blog.

Know also that your ID is good only on blogs hosted by WordPress.COM. It is not for use on WordPress.ORG installs.
