comments do not show up

    A reader posted a comment to the blog which I see in the comment tab but they do not show up when viewing the site. Supposedly there’s a way to turn comments on or off for the entire blog in options/reading, but I do not see it there.

    I sent some test comments yesterday on my own which showed up fine. Any suggestions?

    i see a comment from Mary Anne attached to the one post you have up. Is this the one you mean? You might need to clear your cache to get a fresh version of the page.

    Also be aware that comments do not show up on the main page that displays the posts chronologically. If you click on the post title to go to the page that display just that post, then the comments will show up under the post. Once in a while I’ve noticed that the comment metadata at the post on the front page takes a refresh or two to show the correct number.
