Comments don’t show up

Errr… I just tried to comment on one of my friend’s blog, and it works!
I sent the feedback, and Mark reply a few minutes ago. I am relieved that Mark responded to my support request too. May be you can do a test for yourself now :)

I can leave comments now! I lost the ones I tried to post during the “problem”, though. :(

Something is up with WordPress today. Aside from the commenting issue, I just tried editing an article and it didn’t save. I tried three times!!!

What I do not understand is that if I leave a Comment saying TEST, it shows up. Then I try to leave what I really want, does not work ! Even if it’s not the same message.

the whole thing is driving me crazy today… would be really nice to have someone from WP around to support and answer questions. I am one step from giving up. I can’t even post comments on my own page…

I am in the same boat, can’t comment on my own blog. From all the comments here there must be a problem. I also sent a note to Akismet.

Yeah, this is really getting ridiculous. I’ve put in two support requests now, and I’ve yet to hear back.

Hello fellow bloggers- Try clearing your browser’s cache.
This problem was vexing me too. Last night and this (Tuesday) morning I could not see my own comment, wasn’t in spam or moderation queue, but DID tell me I had “already said that”.
Don’t know if “they” fixed something, but I cleared my browser’s cache (everything but the password cache- IE 7 on Vista) and after doing that, comments started working right again.

I just tried to comment and it finally worked. I don’t know about you all, but it seems to be fixed for me.

I tried leaving comments on several posts and NOTHING. I’ve even tried switching browsers.

How do we get in touch with you? Another support request? I’ve already done two, the latter of which included all the relevant information I could think of. Someone responded and said it was fixed. I followed their instructions, replied that it wasn’t, and have heard nothing back after five hours. What in the hell is going on? Could someone step up to the plate and get something done?
