Comments enabled but not available to readers

  I tried to use the WP form, but receive a message to turn off ad blockers despite the fact I have none activated or available to me. So, I’m here looking for some help concerning comments.

  Comments are enabled for anyone, yet no posts provide a means for readers to make those comments. So far I have not limited what can be said or who can say it. Askimet is installed.

  What might I be doing wrong? Better yet, what should I be doing right that I’m not doing so readers can make comments?
