Comments/ follows not really happening

  I am having a number of people saying they are subscribing to my blog via email and making comments on my posts, though I am getting no notification of this and can’t find the comments or emails anywhere. Any clue on how to deal with this? (And yes, they took all the appropriate steps, somehow it just isn’t happening)

  Hi there. It sounds like your notifications might not be coming through. Please try clearing your browser cache and cookies and see if that works: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/ If this issue persists even after clearing your cache, let us know.

  Meanwhile, for those notifications you missed you should be able to see your email followers from the follower sections of any of the stats pages.

  If there are pending comments you should be able to see them on the comment management page here: http://madsthemua.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit-comments.php If you don’t see comments there, click on the Spam link at the top of that page to check if the comments haven’t been mistakenly filtered as spam. Then just click Not Spam to approve them. However, be careful that you don’t approve actual spam comments by mistake. Any vague comments telling you how great your blog is without actually bearing any relevance to your posts are spam and belong in the spam folder.
