Comments form is missing on my blog. I have checked the appropriate boxes in Discussion in the dashboard and refreshed. Cleared catche and cookies.
Still, the comments box is not showing under my recent post.
What can i do to get the form?

Hello there,
You must have disabled comments and you now need to enable them. All WordPress blogs by default have comments open on all Pages and Posts. You can enable and disable comments on free hosted WordPress.com blogs on this page > Settings > Discussion
Discussion settings is where you set up defaults for comments.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/You can override the default settings and enable or disable future comments on any individual post or page.

You can reveal it by clicking on Screen Options http://en.support.wordpress.com/screen-options/ on the top right corner of your Admin page, and checking the box that says Discussion so the module is included. http://en.support.wordpress.com/modules/#list-of-modules

Hi thistimethisspace,
Thanks for your suggestions. I have checked both the boxes “Allow people to post comments on new articles” , “anybody can post comment”. Still the form is not showing.
under the screen options, I don’t have discussion option at all. I did check comments however.
Once again, thanks for your suggestions. -
Hello,
Resolved. Thanks, thistimethisspace!
I deleted the post and reposted it anew. That brought back the comments box.
