Comments from regular posters keep being held in moderation…

    I’m having an issue where comments from regular commenters (and in some cases, bloggers on the site) are held in moderation.

    The comments aren’t put in spam; they are just held in pending.

    In my discussion settings for “Before a comment appears”

    “Comment author must have a previously approved comment” is checked.

    “Comment must be manually approved” is NOT checked.

    In the Comment Moderation section, 2 links goes to moderation (but these commenters and posters often have zero links in their comments, and only one link in their website URL line).

    We have NO terms in the moderation queue box, so that can’t be it.

    The problem is that the people who keep getting stuck in moderation are regular comments/posters…so they do have previously approved comments (since we keep having to manually approve their comments.)

    Is there anything else I should be checking to see why these folks are hitting the moderation filter?
