  how do i switch comments function OFF completely? Thank you to anyone and everyone who can give me an answer that works.
  please note, my site is hosted on wordpress.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  We can’t help you without a link to the blog, starting with http. Fully a third of the people who ask questions here think they’re hosted on WordPress.com, but aren’t. The answer depends on the blog.

  In future, please provide a link whenever you ask a question here.

  Settings —> Discussion —> remove check-mark from “Allow people to post comments on new articles ” —> scroll down —> save

  It may just be me, but I see little point in having a blog if you don’t accept comments.

  My blog has been going for 10 months and there are already 8,000 comments.
