Comments gone to Akismet?

  I’m new here, and didn’t know what akismet was until today. I’ve had reports of people commenting on my blog, yet I could not see it. Is it possible that they went to Akismet? And if so, since it’s after the 15 days, is there anyway to retrieve those comments for review?

  After the 15 days I think the comments are gone. I am not sure if Staff can do anything about it, but to my knowledge they cannot. If you find your readers still getting trapped with new comments, make sure to mark them as ‘un-spam’ so Akismet learns to stop doing it in the future.

  I never get a chance to look in the queue. All of a sudden Askimet says it’s stopped more spam comments, but there was never anything in the queue for me to review.
