comments grayed out on landing page

  Some readers have told me they can only comment on my About Me page, not the main page. I’ve checked all the settings and can’t figure out the problem. I’m using Penscratch theme.

  Hi there,

  So the reason it is not showing up is that it is your Front page which is set to your Latest Posts. If the user wants to create a comment they can click on the link under the image as seen here:

  

  Please note that the reader can also click on the title and go to the specific post page to comment. The reason that commenting is not allowed on the Front posts page is that if there are hundreds of comments, the readers would have to scroll all the way down through those comments to get to the next post.
