Comments in Template are showing HTML code
-
When I click on comment to test within this site, HTML code appears, followed by the form. I filled out the form and submit comment. When I refresh the site it says 1 comment. When I click comment, the form (showing my email address) and HTML shows again along with the comment. Anyone know how to resolve this?

Are you referring to a wordpress.com blog? If so please provide a link to it so we can see what you refer to.

http://globalkidz.wordpress.com
All wordpress.com blogs come equipped with 1 comment that can be edited or deleted as you so choose. This could be the 1 comment that you are seeing. -> Manage -> Comments
I left a comment on your About page and it displayed without any problem. I could not leave a comment on your post because you have not set it up to receive comments.
If you want to receive comments on your post please go here -> Manage -> Posts and click on “edit”. Once the post opens look past the editor box to the right hand side for the row of blue buttons. Find the one at the very top “Discussion +” and click it. It will open now mark the comments and pings and click “Save” in the editor box.

I had turned it off due to the appearance of the emails
I did not want anyone have it appear before I fixed it. -
Below each comment box on the theme you have chosen are the html instructions for your readers to use when posting their comments. I think this is what you are referring to.
Is that the case? If so then there is nothing to “fix”. The theme is coded to provide that information below each comment box and it looks like this:
Line and paragraph breaks automatic, e-mail address never displayed, HTML allowed … -
ok… so could you please go in and open the test comment I put on the main page and let me know if it automatically shows my info? Or is this just a cookie that pre-formats from my computer?

Done
This is a test comment. Above my comment I can see “Comment by Marie 07.17.07 @ 3:13 pm”
All is well — this is the way it should be.
Comment by timethief 07.17.07 @ 3:25 pmI do not know what you mean about showing your information. When we register at wordpress.com and take a username we also register a unique email address. When we are signed in, every time we leave a comment on a wordpress.com blog, including our own, the blogger receiving the comment sees our username, the email address we registered with, our website if we fill it in and our IP. If we link our username to our blog then anyone can click our username and be at our blog.
Is this what you are referring to?
