Comments in wrong place?
-
When anyone comes to my site – the Comments show up in the sidebar and no one can post a comment.

I have gone into my dashboard and can’t find the problem. The comments should be at the bottom. HELP!

It would be easier to help you and far more intuitive if your wordpress username was linked to your wordpress.com blog rather than to your Blogger blog.
Go to the top right hand corner of this forum page and you will see “Welcome, ! View your profile (Log out)”.
Click “View your profile” then once you have it click “edit this information” and type your complete url for your wordpress.com blog into “website” then click “Update Profile”.
This will link your wordpress.com blog to your username. The Tarski theme normally displays comments at the bottom of the page. I do not know why this is not happening on your blog but perhaps it may be related to the size of the font you have used or perhaps not.
I’ll leave it to another blogger to give you a hand as I’m off to eat dinner now. Best wishes :)

if your problem happens in your wordpress.com blog, then you’re at the right forums. however i don’t quite understand your problem exactly. can you please be more elaborate? for instance, i don’t understand how can “the comments show up in the sidebar and no one can post a comment.”

Here’s an example of what this blogger is talking about (although it would have been nice had he/she given us this link in the first place):
http://thestumblingblock.wordpress.com/2007/03/15/he-said/#commentsI see what you mean, the comments are getting pushed into the bottom of the sidebar, and the comments box (for new comments) is cut off.
I do know that the particular theme you’re using, Tarski, puts all the comments at the bottom of the page, below the sidebar, so if you have a long sidebar, users have to scroll a really long way to read the comments (this is why i don’t use what is otherwise a very nice theme). What you’re getting here is completely abnormal, however.
Maybe some others can take a look with different browsers to see if they see the same thing. I’m using Firefox 2.0.0.3 on a Mac.

You will have to go carefully through all of your text and find where the tag is missing from. <div tags are use to center text so that’s your clue to finding the missing tag. Click on the link drmike provided above and look carefully all the way through to find the missing tag.
P.S. Also note that typing in capitals is considered to be SHOUTING! It’s rude and the overuse of punctuation is likewise rude.
