comments issue help!

  Hi
  I have just transferred my blog from blogger to wordpress, one of my readers has just sent me a message to let me know that she could not leave a comment, a page said you had to be logged in. The same happened to me when I tried…anybody can help?

  Thanks for the quick reply…I might go back to blogger I did not have that issue at all there…you can just choose to publish a comment or not…:-((

  I am back, actually I checked as you said and there is nothing showing in my spam file, the issue is that we are being told to log in to comment, does that mean that users that don’t have wordpress can’t leave a comment? that person had a wordpress account anyway, I am very confused here, thank for your help it will be very appreciated.

  Sorry, I misread your original question. You can just change the settings on your blog to allow people to comment without signing in to WordPress easily enough.

  Go to Dashboard — > Options — > Discussion and you can set it there.
