comments i've made link not present

Recently the “comments I’ve made” link has disappeared from my dashboard (and the drop down menu on upper right gravatar) I have made no changes to any settings and I can’t figure out what to do to get that feature back. I use it to track comments I’ve made and subsequent responses on various blogs. My ability to sign in and comment on blogs was not working at all for about a week (the comments I’ve made worked at that time) and when that was fixed (no changes made by me) the comment tracking issue began. Any help would be appreciated.

I’m sorry to hear you are having these issues. If you can provide us with some details we may be able to help you sort this out.(1) How are you connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com? The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers.
(2) Exactly which browser and version of it are you using. If you don’t know click here to find out > http://whatsmyuseragent.com/
These are the troubleshooting steps we take whenever any issues like this arise:
clearing your browser cache and cookies > http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
using the browser with all extensions or add-ons disabled
updating the browser to the latest stable version (not a buggy BETA browser version) http://browsehappy.com/
confirming third party cookies is enabled http://support.google.com/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=61416
confirming JavaScript is enabled http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654

resetting your router and modem and rebooting your computer
then logging in using the secure https:// log-in see http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

Thanks for your timely response. I am using chrome (same version for last several months) and I verified java, 3rd party cookies, flash settings are correct. I disabled all add-ons/extensions and no change. I tried IE8 with the same results. I connect via DSL and it isn’t great but the performance level is the same as it has been for the last year or so. I have no idea about the proxy server jumps etc. I haven’t made any changes to the system (no program adds or deletes either) and the firewall/spyware/virus protection protocols have remained the same. I don’t think it is any change on my end (unless a program has made changes that I am unaware of and can’t see). It just seems weird since it began after the posting problem resolved itself.

It was removed from the admin bar in favor of the new Notifications system.
I do not believe that it will be removed entirely, it was just moved within your blog’s Dashboard, specifically at Dashboard -> Comments I’ve Made.

If so, then how do I access it? The only links I see are Gravatar in upper right: find friends, create a blog, help, sign out and upper left dropdown menu: reader, freshly pressed, topics, create a blog. If I click on the gravatar it goes to the my settings page (with a save changes active button) where the options are account, password, public profile and my apps. I no longer have a “dashboard” menu on the left side like before. (That’s where I used to use the comments i”ve made link)
