Comments keep getting attached to the wrong post

    This makes no sense, but there is someone who has made several comments on my blog, yet when they appear they are attached to an incorrect post. It isn’t that her comments are winding up on the post right before the one she is commenting on, but generally the post is 10 or 11 posts prior – which makes no sense at all.

    This person has had her own blogs for years, so I know it isn’t user error here, is there something that can be done to prevent this from happening? Could there be a problem with my blog itself?

    I wouldn’t be so sure to count that out but I would go ahead and send in the feedback with a link to the comment in question, the post that it should have been on and the post it wound up on.

    Gotta admit though that this is the first I’ve heard of this issue. Without seeing the issue and having no backend access, I’m leaning towards user error. This isn’t happening with any other commentors on your blog, is it?

    There are actually few commentors, it is a very specialized blog, and in all the years I had this blog on Blogger she never once had this issue. If it wound up attached to the post right next to the intended one than I might agree – but they are winding up attached to posts that are 10 or 12 posts in the past – not even on the same page as the current post – that is the odd part.

    I will report this to feedback with more information, I was just wondering if someone else had seen the same problem.
