Comments link to wrong username

  I first made my wordpress account years ago, but never got around to actually blogging until recently (January). When I started my blog ‘properly’ I changed my username. However when I comment on other people’s blogs, clicking on my username links to the old blog name which of course is a dead link.

  Is there a way to fix this? I’ve heard that commenting on other blogs is a good way to increase traffic, but obviously this is no good if the link doesn’t work…

  Any help is much appreciated!

  How to make your name link to your blog:
  Go into your dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to ‘Account Details’. In the spot where it says ‘website’ fill in the address of your blog and save the changes.
  Now… when you comment here and on other blogs, your name will link to your blog.

  However, this will not change the link on comments made previously, only new comments.
