Comments link/date stamp not showing on home page
-
I cannot figure out why a comments link or date stamp doesn’t show up at the bottom of each post on the home page of my blog – Britrish.com.
For viewers to comment, they have to click on the particular post’s headline and have that specific post load, scroll down to the bottom and then there will be the date I posted it, tags, permalink and number of comments and below that will be the comment box.
It’s not a very streamlined approach but I’ve gone through the dashboard functions and can’t figure out how to move that date stamp/permalink/number of comments link to accompany each post on the home page so viewers can see that comments are not closed.
I use the Mystique theme, if that helps? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

When I asked about that, I was told that is common on a lot of themes. I started using the “read more” feature so when readers click that and go to the full article, the comment fields are in plain sight.

@kellywpa: No. All wp.com themes normally display a comment tab below or above each post. You had probably asked about something else.
@The post metadata (including the comment tab) don’t show in your case because you’ve been selecting the Image post format for your posts. Select Standard.
