Comments not appearing

  I am new to WordPress so still finding my way around. I have a small problem which I cannot figure out the solution to. My test blog http://www.french-vacation.co.uk/is working fine.

  The problem I have is that on the home page there is no way to post comments yet on the about and contact page there is a place to put comments.

  On all pages the “Allow comments on this post” is ticked. Any ideas ?
