Comments not appearing on my blog pages.

They only appear on the most recent posts. They were working fine but now my blog fails to display them.

I’m still not showing anything under my post on my blog page, including the edit button, filed in, or comments. nothing there. It shows up only when I post a topic. It shows up on that topic. When I post another topic the it doesn’t show up on the one before.

Have you approved the comment that drmike put in moderation? It will not appear until you do.

it’s not just the comments thats not showing up, it’s everything such as edit, filed in, everything that supposed to be underneath the post.

Dr. Mike put his comment on the pages link. It works there but not under posts. Let me clarify I can go to comments in my dashboard and they will show up there. They just won’t show on my blog pages under my posts. Nothig shows up there.

That’s because you said that they weren’t showing up on your Pages.
And just left a test comment on one of your Posts. Shows up fine.
I do note that you’ve turned off moderation. When you you say that you can see them on your Dashboard, where specifically are you looking?
I just think you have moderation turned on. Or did at least.

ok yea i’m back. problem is still here. i can see them in dashboard-my comments

There is a distinct difference between a post and a page http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/11/11/a-post-and-a-page/
Pages cannot have categories assigned to them.So I think we can safely assume you are talking about a post and not a page. I see the two comments drmike left. My guess is that if you edit the earlier posts you will find that you do not have “Allow comments” activated on the posts in question.
Edit an earlier post and look beyond the editor box oustide of it to the right hand side. There you will see a row of blue button and the top one is “Categories” and the second one down is “Discussion”. Click on the plus +sign and now you will see:
Allow Comments
Allow pings
mark them both and “save”. View the blog and see if comments shows up. If it does then you have the solution. -
yes they were both checked. thank you guys for the help. soory for the trouble. trying to get this thing sorted out. left message to support. not yet recieved an answer.
