Comments not being published on other blogs

I’m facing a problem with wordpress.com blogs, now that I’ve moved to wordpress.org. My comments do not get published on other blogs on wordpress.com, regardless of whether I’m logged into my old wordpress account or not. I know the comments aren’t ‘awaiting moderation’ because I get no such notification (plus the blogs I’m talking about don’t hold comments for moderation, which I know from experience), and I know the comments get ‘recognized’ by the database because when I try to repost them, I get the ‘duplicate comment’ notification.
I face no such problems with blogs hosted on other platforms. To give you an example, the kiva fellows blog is giving me issues (http://fellowsblog.kiva.org), even though I’ve commented on the site plenty of times. What can I do to fix this? I have a feeling my old WP.com blog settings have something to do with this.

Go to my blog here and leave a comment, both logged into wordpress.com and logged out and then post back here and I’ll take a look to see what is happening.

The spam filter, Akismet is catching you. Sometimes when they make adjustments to their filters to keep up with spammers they inadvertently cache innocents as well.
I’ve marked you comments as “not spam” and Akismet should pick up on that, but I would also suggest going to http://akismet.com/ and using the contact form to contact them with all the details (username, email address, URL, etc.) and ask them to fix things so that you are not caught.

I contacted them and was told they couldn’t detect my comment being blocked anywhere. I gave them details of our conversation – hopefully the next e-mail will sort it out. Let’s see

I perhaps should have left them in the spam folder so that they could see them there.
If you want to leave a couple more on my blog, I’ll leave them in the spam filter (unless they don’t end up there).

Just left another comment on your blog – new post – and it appeared right away. Would be grateful if you could ‘undo’ the changes you made yesterday, and I’ll send Askimet your link as soon as you do.

I see the two comments from earlier, but no new comments by you.
Re-spamming the previous comments won’t give them a clear picture of what is going on, it will just add you back into the akismet filters, and you don’t want that.

Give Akisment the URL’s of the blogs where your comments are not appearing.
Akismet does not appear to be catching you anymore.

I sent them links to 4 blogs that troubled me – they haven’t replied to my e-mail. I’ve found a temporary solution of using a proxy (it’s very likely my ISP’s IP ranges are blocked because of misuse by other subscribers)
