Comments not displaying

When I comment on a blog I follow, the comments do not show up. I have no idea what is wrong.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there! If you leave a comment on another blog and it’s not appearing, it could be that the comment is being held in a queue to be moderated/approved by the blog owner.
Does this happen on all blogs, or just some? People have different comment moderation settings on their sites.

It happens with 95% of blogs I comment on-and I was able

I have tried to comment via the wordpress reader, And also by opening up their websites. I switched from my email address of (email visible only to moderators and staff) back to my old email of nicolegbedard@ gmail.com and then back again to (email visible only to moderators and staff) …nothing has worked

I tried sending some test comments from your account, and I don’t see them showing up either. Let’s try to troubleshoot: can you contact Akismet at http://akismet.com/contact/ and describe the issue briefly, and check “I think Akismet is catching my comments by mistake” as well? We’d like to rule this out as an issue.

Thanks for checking in. Yes, it might take a bit of time for a reply. By contacting the Akismet team via their form, they can gather some additional environmental data that could help narrow down the cause.
One thing you can also try to help narrow down the issue is replying from a different computer and place — like a coffee shop or from work. Let us know if you notice anything different.

I have definitely tried in other places. As far as other devices goes, I’ve tried with my computer, phone, and iPad and none of those devices have worked. They finally responded on Sunday saying the issue was fixed: it is not. I replied to the email saying I had tested it and haven’t heard a response back yet.

I’m sorry for the ongoing trouble with this. If Akismet has confirmed that it’s not an issue on that end of things, can you please send me a couple links to specific posts that you’ve tried to comment on where your comments still didn’t work? That will help me keep investigating what’s going on here. Thanks!

Thanks for sending over those two links, Nicole. Both of those blogs are self-hosted WordPress blogs, which means they use the free WordPress software but they aren’t actually hosted here at WordPress.com. (You can read more about what that means here: WordPress.com and WordPress.org)
That means we don’t actually have any control over the commenting systems on those sites — you’ll need to get in touch with the site owners for more help sorting out why your comments aren’t appearing there. I’m sorry I couldn’t help more with that!
If you find that your comments still aren’t showing up on sites hosted here at WordPress.com (you’ll see WordPress.com mentioned at the bottom of the site) please let me know and I’ll be able to help more with those!

Thanks for all your help. This is so frustrating! I don’t intent to reach out to the site owners bc honestly, I know they have enough going on with their own blogs as it is, I don’t want to be a nuisance. Thanks!

I haven’t has any issues in a few days with WordPress.com blogs. Today, I tried to comment on two separate blogs and it didn’t work.
