Comments not displaying on posts

    Hi! I have selected the ‘Allow comments’ option on my posts but when I look at the page it does not display – can anyone help solve this?

    Hello @freeyourhappysoul,

    It’s possible that you may have a comment setting in place that’s automatically closing the comments after a set period of time.

    From your admin dashboard, go to Settings > Discussion or click here: https://wordpress.com/settings/discussion

    Under COMMENTS, you should see an option for “Automatically close comments on articles older than ___ days”. If it’s turned on, you’ll want to disable it or change the # of days. And then be sure to Save the settings.

    While you’re there, you may want to double check the other options are set how you want them as well.
