Comments not posting

  I participate in a blog: https://businessethics16.wordpress.com/, and my comments have not been posting. I even received a warning after retrying to post that it was a duplicate post yet the original was not present.

  How can I fix this issue? And is there a way to retrieve my previous few comments? My username is johnv86.

  If you’re posting on someone else’s blog then they might have set up some comment moderation options. For example they could be blocking comments that contain certain words or a given number of links, or they might decide to manually approve all comments to reduce the amount of spam and have not yet gotten around to yours yet.

  If you have any concerns with a site run by someone else you could try to get in touch with the administrator and see if they can help you.

  Thank you. I will contact them to ensure I have permission. Would my comments be retrievable? Was hoping not to have to redo them.

  Possibly by the blog administrator, it depends whether they’ve been permanently deleted or are in the moderation queue.
