Comments not showing (other people's blogs).

    Comments I made are not showing since I changed my public profile name. Also, I was not able to post live questions on the help forum – because comments for the topic were closing as soon as I posted the question. It was showing that I posted the question 44 years ago.

    Hi there,

    In most cases when this happens we have to send you directly to the folks over at Akismet to have them take a look at your account and make sure there’s nothing going awry.

    If you just go to:

    Contact Us

    And type in a quick note in that space about what’s going wrong (such as “My comments aren’t showing up”) and then fill out the form which shows up as a result, they should be able to help you out. It really helps them if you can provide any posts which you tried to leave comments on but couldn’t.

    Thanks for the tip. I have done as you suggested. I now suspect that my comments are going to spam. (One blog I follow verified this.) Is there anything else I can do to avoid this?

    I’m afraid that only the folks at Akismet will be able to help you out with that. I don’t have any access to those systems at all.
