Comments not working

Hi I have enabled comments on my blog posts but for some reason my readers can’t comment on my posts. I am not sure what I am doing wrong – how do I enable comments?

For enabling the comments on all your posts:-
Go to My Site -> Settings -> Discussion -> Default article settings
Toggle on the option to “Allow people to post comments on new articles.”Now, click on posts or pages in your dashboard on which you want to enable comments. At the right bottom, you will find the Discussion tab, there select “Allow comments” to enable comments.

The theme you are using on your site (Jones) happens to be a minimalist theme for creating single page websites, typically for something like an online resume.

Because this theme was not intended for blogging as well as the focus on making the theme very minimalist it does not have a way to display a comment section on blog posts.
However, if you switch to one of the other themes here (especially if the demo site for the theme has a ‘blog’ or ‘news’ page in the menu) will work with your blog: https://wordpress.com/themes/astudentonajourney.wordpress.com/
