Comments not working

    I just upgraded my blog from WP 2.0 (latest release) to version 3. I didn’t really upgrade, I renamed the WP folder and did a new install from my Cpanel. I choose the Politico-Republican theme. Despite having comments enable for all posts, when you select comment you are simply returned to the originating page. Any ideas why?
