Comments not working

  I have gone through every setting I can think of to allow public comments on my blog and still it won’t take comments – can anyone help with this? I have already looked through the forum to see if this was asked previously and couldn’t find any solution to this issue: despite having all the settings (seemingly) correct, when I look at the blog and click ‘Leave a Comment’ nothing happens, the link goes to nowhere. So the comment facility does seem to be enabled, yet just doesn’t take you anywhere. The link is whenthereareclouds.wordpress.com Any advice / help would be appreciated, thanks.

  Have you tinkered with the CSS at all? That shouldn’t be happening.

  Nope, haven’t touched it. I don’t have a clue about CSS so don’t go near it.

  Changes in Settings > Discussion don’t apply to already published posts.

  “Leave a comment” under the title but no comment box means comments are disabled but pings are allowed. Go to Posts > All Posts, tick the little square to select all the posts, select Edit from the Bulk Actions pulldown, click Apply, select Allow from the Comments pulldown and the Pings pulldown, click Update.

  For future posts: go to Settings > Discussion and make sure the first three options are checked.
  Also uncheck the option “Automatically close comments on articles older than [n] days.”
