I just found out that comments made by my readers have been placed in spam. Before I realized this, 297 comments have been removed by Askimet. I don’t remember asking anyone to filter my site like this. Please show me how to correct this problem. Thank you

Akismet is very good at recognizing spam and will put spam in the spam folder. It is activated on all WordPressdotcom sites and cannot be turned off by users.

https://en.support.wordpress.com/unwanted-comments/If you have readers that are leaving legitimate comments that are being caught as spam (read the above resources first), they should contact Akismet as per the instructions in the last Support doc I linked to above.
