Comments of the WordPress.com news page

  It would not take my comments on the post about the My comments being fixed nor on the post about Blog Activism.Obviously something else got messed up when the My comments got fixed. I had to posted a comment just fine not 2 minutes before on another blog so it seems to only be the News pages.

  Your comments wouldn’t go through? They could have been held over in comment moderation and an administrator will let them through when they log in later today.

  Nobody holds over comments on the news pages. It is the WordPress.com News page which I was not able to comment on.

  Guess nobody from support even bothered to look at this one.

  I don’t know what you are looking at. I am looking at the wordpress.com blog where postings are made by Matt and all comments are moderated by Matt. And I am seeing your comment as the 6th one in the chain of 14 comments here’s the link http://wordpress.com/blog/2006/10/19/blog-activism/

  The comments on ALL WordPress.com news pages are held for moderation, axe. Always.

  I noticed that after I posted it had indeed been added. When I posted a comment to the September news post it went right through though.So if they are Always moderated, then why did that happen?

  I am just glad it went through and there is not a bug.Thx for replying.

  You’re welcome axe. As far as I know all comments to that blog are moderated.
