Comments Off Cannot be Changed

  Hello- I just opened up my wordpress site and Comments Off is defaulted. I want comments ON. I have followed every forum option and nothing is working to enable comments on all posts. I am not techie, so I can’t drop in code- I don’t even know how to go about doing that. I just want people to leave comments!!! How can I do this? Starting to think I am crazy at this point…. I go to Settings>Discussion> and check all the 3 top boxes to enable. And still Comments are Off on the blog. I go to each individual post and there is no option to enable comments at the post level. PLEASE HELP. Thanks.

  You ought to be able to set your defaults for comments on this page > Settings > Discussion
  other comment settings
  You can override the defaults on any page or post for future comments by following these instructions. If these instructions do not work for you then your will need Staff assistance and they are not available until Tuesday.

  Thanks, Timethief! I was trying to figure out how to turn OFF the comments and this really helped me. :)
