Comments off on a post

I have a post which was a sticky and it says comments off, i saw this when it was a sticky and thought it was normal.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can enable comments on any post. Edit it and do that.

Thanks TT. i checked and the page is set up properly for allowing comments, its only this one post all other posts accept comments.

i checked and the page is set up properly for allowing comments
I guess you mean in Settings > Discussion. The options you select on a particular post override the settings. Go to Posts > All Posts, hover over the title of the post, click Quick Edit, check the options “Allow Comments” and “Allow Pings”, click Update.

Thanks Panos, thats it fixed, but do you know why it happen was it because it was a sticky.

Justpi is correct – the sticky option shouldn’t have any bearing on your user’s ability to comment.
As a test you can set another post as a sticky, then revert it and see if this is indeed a buggy feature that we need to squash!
