Comments on another person's blog sent to my e-mail address

I stupidly must have clicked to be informed of follow-up comments when I commented on someone else’s blog. Unfortunately the comment I made was on his home page and he has been busily liking and following what seems like hundreds of other blogs in the hope that they will follow him. My e-mail inbox is full of unwanted comments and I am going away from home for a week to a place without internet and I dread to think how many messages I will get in that time. How can I cancel this?

Did you try clicking the “unsubscribe” link on the emails of the comments at the very bottom of the emails?
Alternatively you can click into each post you clicked the follow comments button on it and disable that.

Now why didn’t I think of that? I must be getting more stupid than I’d supposed. Thank-you so much for your suggestions.
