comments on bottom of page
-
I just set up my own blog/website. I paid $17 for the domain and started editing my theme. Whenever I add a page, it has a big “Leave a Reply” box at the bottom of it. Is there any way to get rid of this? I don’t want comments on every page of my website. Also, above the header I created, there is the ugly, black “capturephotographybyjen/just another wordpress site.” Anyway to move or get rid of this? I would like my header to be at the very top of the page…
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This page > Settings > Discussion
Discussion settings is where you set up defaults for comments.
We can also override the default settings and enable or disable future comments on any post or page.
Depending on the theme we use when we close comments a phrase like “comments closed” or a similar phrase may appear and if so, it can only be removed by CSS editing after purchasing a custom design upgrade. -
You can remove or replace the tagline “just another wordpress site” here > Settings > General > Tagline
Before you go any further would you like to follow the step by step la href=”http://learn.wordpress.com/”>learn WordPress.com blogging tutorial? The link is on the bottom of your Admin page. Also on the bottom of that page is a Support link for all support documentation http://en.support.wordpress.com and the searchbox there provides results from both the docs and forum threads.
