Comments on my posts have vanished.

  There are a few showing on the most recent posts. I looked through about a dozen or or so, some recent some old. And the comments are not showing. Please, how do I fix this?
  I recently added the show similar posts feature, but comments were still visible after that. And I did two plug in updates today. Is that the problem?
