comments on other blogs

I have been leaving comments on friends blogs using my WordPress ID and for a few days they have not been showing up. I know i am not blocked, and others comments are showing. Seems the only place i can comment is on my own blog anymore.
Is there some sort of black list i have gotten on?

Can you point me to a blog where you’ve recently left a comment, but it has yet to show up in the comment section?

Hey Ben,
In each of those posts, your comments are sitting in the spam folder for one reason or another. The owner of those blogs will need to mark your comment as “Not Spam” from their spam folder. After they mark you as “Not Spam”, your comments shouldn’t land in the spam folder again.
Can you ask them to mark your comments as “Not Spam” and see if that does the trick?

OK – very strange – is there a way that some WP plug in has me flagged, because it happened all at once on many – if no all blogs where i am not an author. Very frustrating.

I Just put in a request with Akismet since if everyone has to un-spam me it basically makes it impossible for me to connect with any new bloggers.

Hey Ben!
I’m not exactly sure what’s triggering you to get caught by the spam filter. However, it likely has more to do with the comment settings on the blogs you’re commenting on. If they click “Not Spam” just once, you should be set to comment moving forward!
