Comments option does not appear

  I have followed the Discussion Settings instructions to allow visitors to comment on my Blog page, but the comment option does not appear.

  Theme is Confit.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Can you go to edit your post and check that comments are enabled there? The check box you mentioned is only for new posts so existing posts will have to have their comments enabled manually.

  I have looked and looked there for an a place to enable comments and I cannot see one.

  There should be a Discussion section on your edit post page that looks a bit like this. If not there is a tab called “Screen Options” right at the top of the page on the right under the main menu bar, click on it and make sure that the discussion box is checked.

  I found it under “Screen Options”.

  Comment box was checked.

  Discussion box is not. Should it be checked as well?

  Got it! I checked the “discussion box” and leave a comment is visible. Thank you!
